New Spa Selection

Since the Microspa flaked out on us, we've found a couple of other options--Canyon Ranch at the Venetian, Mandara at the Paris, and Caribbean Day Spa and Salon. Both the Venetian and Paris accept the SpaFinder giftcertificates that are 20% off at Costco.

The spa menus (with pricing) for the Venetian , Paris, and Caribbean, can be viewed at your lesiure. Please note that the pricing is notably more expensive at the 2 locations on the strip. Expect to pay ~$150-$175 for a treatment (excluding tip). Both the Venetian and Paris have other amenities including sauna, jacuzzi, locker room (with showers etc) etc. Caribbean does not have any other amenities. There is also a $25 spa fee at the Paris for non-registered guests. Caribbean is off the strip and pricing is more in line with Microspa, but please note they don't accept the spa finder GC's and we will need to pay for transportation there and back. Michelle expressed interest in a limo for us, which will be an incremental cost.

I called the Venetian and the Paris it sounds like they have more than adequate staff to accommodate us but they book only 30 days in advance, so I'll be on the horn with them on 6/7 to check availability.

Bad News....

Called the spa today and was told that they have had a bunch of turnover and impending staff departures. They can only gurantee that there will be a massage therapist on hand during our time block (11-4:45)., which isn't enough enough time for everyone to receive a massage. They might have an aesthetician but no guarantees. So.....we are in the process of searching around for another spa that can accomodate us.

Cheri and Andrea, I'm going to look around for different spas and maybe we can each call a few of them.
