Wedding Activities Schedule


This is how I (Michelle) have been every day for the last 2 weeks, by the way. Don't bug me or piss me off with stupid inane questions or I may harm you!

SUNDAY, JUNE 1
Andrea's day with Michelle

MONDAY, JUNE 2
Mental Health Day for Michelle. No contact please.

TUESDAY, June 3
ACTIVITIES:
8:05 am: Kristy arrives AA Flight #579 into San Jose

Morning: Kristy to shop at the Rack. Michelle only to chauffeur and advise. No shopping for Michelle.

Lunch: We don't allow meals to interfere with shopping.

Afternoon: Visit Grandma (Michelle don't forget her wedding clothes and camera)
Kristy's fitting with Colleen

Evening: Open


ACCOMMODATIONS:
Kristy staying at Hotel Rickman

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 4
ACTIVITIES:
8:15 am: Jamie arrives Southwest Flight #2624 into San Jose

Drop Kristy off at SJC airport to pick up rental car

Morning: To the coast

Afternoon: Waxing of the unibrow for Michelle

Evening: Open


Accommodations:
Kristy: Fairfield Inn by Marriott for remainder of stay
Jamie: Cheri's or Hotel Rickman (?)

THURSDAY, JUNE 5
Activities:
7:55 am: Reiko arrives Southwest Flight #1493 into Oakland.

11:30 Meet at Michelle's for Pedicures & manicures. Get yo' nasty feet all polished up!

12:00 - 2:00 ish: Pedicures & Manicures
La Fleurs Nails & Spa 1924 W. Grant Line Rd. 209-830-8700 Mgr. Linda. Ladies, if you want something done OTHER than mani and/or pedi, you are responsible for dialing the digits. Note: We can bring our own food to nosh on while the aestheticians are toiling away on our claws and paws. If anyone has any ideas on what to bring, leave a comment here. Remember to bring treats for the poor aestheticians who have to pamper our feet as a thank you 'jester' (as Michelle referred to it). P.S. Cousin, it's 'gesture'.

Early afternoon: Free time

Kristy to get grub for shower. Note: The eats will be not be high-class i.e. not fine-dining and probably not ultra-healthy. If you need or desire healthy food, you will need to come prepared.

5:00 Co-ed Wedding Shower in the Backyard.
Alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages will be available. Note that if you over-indulge, you are still responsible for performing all assigned duties the next day. Do not believe you will get a sympathy waiver from Michelle!

FRIDAY, JUNE 6

6:30-ish: Rehearsal for the Extravaganza in the Backyard 1264 Lonna Way, Tracy.

SATURDAY, JUNE 7
Morning:
Get beautified for the wedding and do it quickly! There will be at least 1 room available at the Fairfield for Wenches to get ready and/or freshen up after they finish the manual labor in the Backyard. More details to follow.

If you are having Dre do your hair, coordinate directly with her. 925-765-1259. Hair should be washed and dried. If not, no style for you!

Wenches, please arrive at the Backyard at the designated time per Head Wench, Kim. Given that Kim is Michelle's supervisor at work, her supervisory skills are no doubt more than adequate to manage the decoration activities.

4:00 Wedding party be ready and at Casa de Rickman (1264 Lonna Way) at or before this time! Come late and risk being excluded from the informal glamour shots. Men you are up first, then the ladies. And surely to be a highlight of the session, there will be shots of Michelle doing a shot of sake with mommy dearest.

4:30: Kasha & Christina please be ready and available to greet guests.

5:00 DJ Hector Duron gets the party started!

5:00 - 6:00 Sake & Sushi happy hour at Backyard Rickman. Drink up! (For some of us to numb the pain of annoying family in close proximity for several hours.) For those that don't have annoying family attending or that don't partake in alcohol, there will be non-alcoholic beverages available. This pre-function is tentatively scheduled to be self-serve but Wenches, it would be greatly appreciated if you could serve and/or assist guests.

6:00 Wedding Extravaganza at Backyard Rickman

6:30 - 7:00-ish: Formal glamour shots for the Wedding Party. Please try not to overindulge during the Sake hour--avoid the embarrassment of being sweaty, red faced, and droopy eyed in photos that will be permanent documentation of this joyous event. You can partake in the sake bombs AFTER the pictures.

11:00 DJ Hector spins his last record.

Kristy, I can't thank you enough for busting out the ol' "lets have a wedding" blog. I actually thought about it but... It was just that.

Let me just re say - This is a way for me/all to communicate! That is key! I could not handle one more day of tx messaging, emails, phone calls, ect. w/18 different women! YES, I SAID 18! If any of u think this thing was happening w/only 5 bridemaides ur incorrect. Minus u 5, I have 13 different women that are doing things for this wedding that I have to communicate with and only one of them lives in my town! Don't be mistaken there are men on the payroll too. I have to communicate with them also. They're just cut to the chase, no dramma. To top it off we're STILL getting back RSVP's! Even though the respond date said April 4th!!! How the F am I supposed to count for that crap!

Best tip I can give , Hire a wedding coordinator! It's worth your sanity, time, and helps keep u on a budget!

Has anyone figured out yet that I'm stressing and stressing communication. If you're just going to show up and do exactly what's asked and expected there shouldn't be too many problems.

But on the other extreem, If you want to be secluded and do your own thing and not tell anyone, i.e. the BRIDE, then why commit to being a bridesmaid for Mich. You all know how I am and I know the love goes both ways. Sometimes I need more! (I know I'm not alone) This is why Mon. June 2nd I will be out of the office! Don't call, write or visit! It's the last day for me to salvage any sanity. And- Unless u have something personal/ private don't contact my personal / private email. THIS IS it for a bit! It's not cool when someone stays up all night trying to get info out to everyone and have it get shot all to hell the next day!
Scheduled activities will resume again on Tues 3rd as posted.

The Nail Salon has many different types of svc's.! I told Linda that there would be @ least 6 people getting either peds or mani's OR both. It's easier for me if u all take it upon yourselves only if u want something done besides your nails or an extra svc. (And I don't think they have a web site)It's a new shop. less than a yr. Clean, good loca. for all of us.

Christina, Please come get the flat sodas asap. 2m is the best day, other wise they'll be on the side if the house! They need to be gone by thurs. If it's easier,.. just throw them on a c.c. and it can be used when U do our "Fax n PULL. lol. ps . Thanks for the heads up on the punch!
